Blanket Flower Update

I had these daisy-like plants planted sometime in June. Yay, flower buds start to appear last week and I'm so excited what it's gonna look like when the flowers bloom.

Here's how it started... from my seed-starting pot..

After three weeks, I had them transferred to their new home..

looking good!

The seed packets said it's "Gaillardia Aristata". Well then welcome to my garden, beauties!

In Memoriam

This is my tribute to Sakura's pups, Megumi and Dwight, who passed away this year. Rest in peace both of you. You will be missed.

Megumi ( 11/26/11 - 03/07/12 )
Dwight ( 06/29/12 - 09/06/12 )

And also to some of my annual and perennial plants who either went dormant or suffered from bug infestation so I had them trimmed down.
